Individual Tooth Implants

Dental Implants Offer a Permanent Solution for Your Missing Teeth.
A dental implant is essentially a substitute for a natural root and commonly it is screw shaped. Each implant is placed into a socket carefully drilled at the precise location of the intended tooth. For patients who require individual tooth implants we are able to fit these to restore the original appearance and function. If you have lost a tooth we are able to restore it with an artificial implant. Our dentists can talk through the whole process in more detail if you are interested in finding out more about this. Please speak to us today and we’ll help you decide if this is the right course of treatment for you.

How Dental Implants Work
If an implant has a screw-thread on its outer surface it can be screwed into position and if it does not, it is usually tapped into place. The main aim during installation of any implant is to achieve immediate close contact with the surrounding bone. This creates an initial stability, which over time is steadily enhanced by further growth of bone into microscopic roughness on the dental implant’s surface.

In order to support replacement teeth, dental implants normally have some form of internal screw thread or post space that allows a variety of components to be fitted. Once fitted, these components provide the foundation for long-term support of crowns, bridges or dentures.

What Are Individual Tooth Implants?

Dental Implant Process
Implants are commonly offered to individuals who have got missing teeth so as to improve the overall look and function. In order to make the implant as natural as possible, they will be fitted using a synthetic root system together with a crown. As a result, these dental implants appear and feel like genuine teeth, and they also function in the same way too.

The implants enable you to enjoy every kind of food as they behave in the same way as real teeth. They will provide more than just cosmetic features as they supply the functionality you’d get by having a full set of real teeth.
